Looks close to Parking Panel, though seeing the dates of copyright, they may have a Google or Yahoo feed and have set it up themselves. I do know that Parking Panel will sometimes do custom landers for people. Seeked.com is one of my names I'm actually in the process of selling, but is still parked on Parking Panel for the moment and is an example of their standard search lander (though I changed the colors to what they are). I imagine it can work really well for generic terms that people would likely want to have more specific results in. Trips is a perfect example...people obviously looking for trip/vacation info, but to where? Have them tell you.

It's a parked domain first off, but the name is selling for $250. If it falls though, I'll let you know, but the page on it is IMO a perfect example of how to brand it IMO. Seeked is not even a word, but neither is Google.

Hmmm, interesting - so basically its just a parking page but maybe a custom one - ref the bit above thats exactly what I was thinking, I bet quiet a few people just type in a destination which would likely improve the click rate somewhat....nice :tu: With a tasty Logo & a few well placed graphics I bet it would work a treat.

Is parking Panel the only people doing this that you know of ? How has seeked.com performed regarding click rate (if you can share that info)

Seeked wasn't getting much traffic unfortunately, so I haven't even looked to see if the page does all that well. I do know that at least Sedo does have a Search lander too, though theirs looks like their designer was on acid. Seriously, I've had names on Sedo, thought "hey, a search lander would do well on this", took another look at Sedo's search lander and thought "...ugh, I guess NOT!" To be quite honest, I'm not sure which other sites might have search landers. I would think DS does but I don't recall ever seeing one. Parked and/or ND might, but I haven't used either enough to know if they do. If anyone else knows better and can give examples, I'd like to see other search landers as well!

Do you know of where I can see an example of one ? I've never seen anything in my sedo account that mentions it - Only their Portal page one.

I'd like to see other search landers as well!
