Nice enough name - Jibs_com nauticle term/item ( + building item) - 29 overture with ext
reg'd in 1998 no PR - just 59 incoming links

He's been battling away for ages to get this name !

I guess alot of us have seen him bid high many times before, I would like to know:

Does he have a website where he sells his domains or do you think he buys just for PPC revenue ?

I fail to see how he could ever get his money back in PPC - It would take tens of years IMO surely he MUST be selling them somewhere to ever make a profit.

Paying crazy money expecting PPC income ROI on those crappy names ain't gonna make 'em rich - only Snapnames.

Truth be told, domain market has already seen a (temporary?) peak - in line with the stock market and soon to be falling real estate market in the USA.

Well I just do a bit of delving when I am curious (or nosey) just thought you could do the same! For example do a google search and also search here for the names you have seen sold. Try the names on other forums. Just some ideas....

I'm thinking that Bonkers "may be" Frank Schilling of Name Administration, Inc - If it is then these are not bought for resale, just PPC and microportals

Some freinds and I have discussed this many times.
The only thing we could come up with is,
he puts them on a credit and only pays the monthly interest
or maybe floats the money from credit card to credit card and avoids the interest altogether.
Maybe he plans on not paying the credit card and it'll go on his credit.
Who cares about credit, when you have PPC revenue coming aout your a$$.

No way is he paying $10,000+ day to snapnames and pool.

You have to consider the potential vertical and horizontal scaling potential of acquiring a certain name -- often times, the value in use is greater than a "pure" PPC play (i.e. standard parking page), considering that the scalable PPC market is heterogenous in many ways. Marchex is a great example of scalable domain economies of scale.
