How do I get a Screenshot

Hi,

I need to get a couple of screen shots to send to someone.
Could anyone please advise how i do this as i'm a bit lost.

1Capture, is a free software.It captures part of the screen as screenshots and sends it to a server as a JPG file. The link to your image is automatically saved in the clipboard. You can paste the link in your browser and share it with your friends.
Also you can save the screenshot at your computer.

While on the screen hit "print screen' on your keyboard then open paint & paste the image into paint, name it & save the file.

easier than that, if you use firefox, which most domainers do as ie sucks, then a free plugin for your toolbar is fireshot. download that puppy for free

Another great tool I use all the time besides Fireshot is...

For firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146

If on Windows, you can press ALT-Print Screen (this will capture only the active window). open up "paint" and press Ctrl-V to paste. ta-da...
