How do I determine Unique Visitors per day?

I see people mentioning Unique Visitors per day when trying to sell their site. My questions is how do I determine this? My webhost has Analog and Webalizer installed in my cpanel already. Will one of these tell me?

Yes, both of them should tell you.

on my server, in AWSTATS under Visits today, or something like that shows my daily uniques.

Yes. You can use Webalizer for that. But I'm using a PHP script which was coded by myself.
