I am not sure about if anyone is going to post lol. I think maybe you made it to broad of subject here. But anyway I will help you a bit. I would say to get higher search engine ranks get more links in to your site via directorys etc. Also about how to make money try google adsence or something. Other then that I am not sure. Oh also depends on what kind of site it is etc.

Well if you have bee waltzing around looking for "adsence" you will be disappointed.

Adsense though, [http://www.google.com/adsense] or the Yahoo Puclishers Network [http://publisher.yahoo.com/ If you are in an accepted beta area] Are your best choices.
