Yeah not at all. I've had some domains valued at extreme prices that have never sold and other domains valued at zero that sold for generous amounts. Estibot can't place a value on what someone is willing to pay because everyone has their own needs and what one person doesn't see in value of a domain, another might. What's the old saying? "One man's garbage is another man's treasure"

I once saw on a domain forum that around 10% of an Estibot valuation is accurate. That being said Estibot valuations are not that accurate, I once purchased a domain for low $xx which was valued at mid to high $x,xxx
It isn't generally worth paying for appraisals, the best way to get a domain valued is to post it on a forum here.

Domain market is not the same as property market :) Online valuation tools can probably assess domain length and keyword value, but is this enough? What's in case people go creative? Machines fail :)

Like lothos said. It's not accurate. I've sold domains from 10% to 1000% of the Estibot values.

A domain is only worth what the buyer is willing to pay.

You can show a potential buyer an appraisal and it means nothing, they will still offer what they want, waste of time if you ask me.
