Hey NP,

Following the recent success of our $4.99 .COM promo, we have been inundated with requests to run it again...while we have not quite been able to secure the bargain basement pricing of our last promotion, we are currently able to offer new .COM registrations for $6.99, with no limit on the number of registrations per customer. As before, the price will need to change back at some point, although we do not know when - so be quick!

Please be aware that this offer DOES NOT apply to transfers on this occasion.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
AlpNames has great advantages vs other offers : wink :
- super easy instant sign up for new customers (your buyers) and easy push without delay
- renewals are standard price $8.75, instead of upwards of $15 elsewhere
- free marketplace
- great support on NamePros and through tickets/email/chat

Beware: They use PublicDomainRegistry.com to register domains under their offerw. Alpnames will just act as a reseller. Endurance/Directi/Resellerclub who owns PublicDomainRegistry will actually be the registrar.

Don't be surprised that after you register the domains, a clueless Indian douche from so called Directi abuse team starts harassing you by suspending your domains and than asking your confidential documents like your ID and other stuff. There are 50% chances he will not un-suspend your domains even after you hand him over your confidential documents. Not to forget, the domains will remain suspended till they 'investigate' and 'verify' your documents.

@AlpNames why are you not supporting speed transfers? Now all the major registrars are supporting it.

PublicDomainRegistry.com won't allow quick transfers. alpnames is just resller ...

@AlpNames why are you not supporting speed transfers? Now all the major registrars are supporting it.

If you are referring to the aftermarket "Fast Transfer" procedure, we do support it for both Afternic and Sedo MLS, please see here for more info.

As for the whole "AlpNames is just a reseller" thing...AlpNames is a wholly-independent accredited registrar (IANA ID 1857, for those that care!). Our only link with EIG/Directi/PDR is that we are currently using the OrderBox product from EIG's "LogicBoxes" as our backend - we are one of the largest registrars using that platform.

To be 100% transparent, the current .COM promo is being offered in conjunction with PDR and any names registered will be registered via PDR's accreditation, but all domain management and customer support will be provided by AlpNames. The only difference that an end user is likely to notice (if he/she notices it at all...), is that the WHOIS info will display PDR as the sponsoring registrar instead of AlpNames.
