Second part of my series on lexicon domains. I analyzed the current usage of 47 English color .com domains, and here are the results:

• 24 color domains are actively in use by businesses or individuals
• 13 color domains are up for sale
• 10 color domains are largely dormant, sitting parked, under construction, broken, redirected, or unreachable

I only checked .com and no other TLDs but it's a good idea as another datapoint - maybe in a future update. I saw that this data is included on the atom.com auction landing pages - very useful:

• TLDs Taken Count
• Websites Developed

Here are all included domains which are also listed in the embedded Google Sheet on lexicondomains.com. I only considered the most popular ones because otherwise the list would become endless.

What's the most popular color? Blue? Green? Purple?

Domain registrations/usage may provide the answer.

Maybe I will include this data at some point but not soon. I added the monthly search volume from Google Ads Keyword Tool as a popularity indicator which is not really helpful since the number are rounded estimates like 500,000 vs. 5,000,000.
