I contacted the owner because I saw they were running a baked goods site, guess they are changing the name. The domain has age though, registered in 97.

"From the makers of Porn.org, Hotties.com: apply directly where it hurts!"

Heheh, seriously though, what's with these names lately that are definitely not worth $1 million being listed for that much on eBay? That ain't cheap.

That's not a new thing...been going on for a long time over there. It's a terrible place to buy and sell domains.

Nice name, well worth the asking price.

I don't need it, but if that's the asking price, why not? Who are we all to say the price is too high? Too high for us, yeah. This is another typical "Overpricing" reaction. If You don't want to pay the price, okay. With what right would we all call stupid anybody who would pay the asking price? It is their money, not Ours. There is a Scientific Domain Appraising report available for download on our web

There is no way it is worth that much, whether I have the money or not.

It is worth ... It is not worth ... It's just personal opinions.

I respect people's honest opinions, but suggesting that everybody shares it is not realistic. What's useful for one person may be not for another. It may sound more friendly if people would begin their posts with something like: "In my opinion ..." instead of squarely pretending that everybody thinks the same way. I often list domains for $1,000,000.00 on eBay. Who cares? If it doesn't sell, am I an idiot? And if it would sell, would You guys be happy for me or write down here that it isn't fair that I get that price?

Personally, I think "Hotties" is a great domain with lots of potential. Perhaps even a Million Dollars if done right. It is THE term... just check out virtually any spring break or pics/vids site.

Developed, of course... not just sold unless it has a tenth of the revenue that sex.com generates.

Seems theres a strategy in some people's mind about applying value to a domain by listing it for so much... It might work, it might not. I don't know... but I can see further down the road, someone (maybe not you) posting a domain for sale like "previously offered at $1 Million Dollars, discounted to $750,000 for 24 hours only"

Kinda sidesteps the entire issue of actual value then.

So in short, yeah, great name.... $1 Million... you'd have to substantiate that.

I like the domain but it's a hell of a lot of money! Having said that do they really want to sell the domain if they have a chains of stores, or is it just on ebay for the publicity, seen as we are all talkin about it.

I think it's worked cos I fancy a donut now.

i'd pay a million for it

of course he would have to finance it at $1 a month until it's paid off.
