It's been a while since I've requested an appraisal here, but I'm really curious as to what .net names with nice keywords typically go for. Please assess:

LoveScene.net (semi-generic, semi-brandable)
MobScene.net (brandable)
ListenToRadio.net (generic)
CheapMusicDownloads.net (generic)

How high do these names ring on the cash register with and without development?

LoveScene - Very generic and highly attractive to a large variety of audiences - Mid $xxx
ListenToRadio.net - Popular and a strong phrase Low $xxx
The other two are good but probably not going much higher than the $xx range

Generally IMO

To my experience in this industry .net domains sure requires development. I suggest you to get more value for them. I shall agree with the appraisal of UsedAgain after development of these.

All the best,

sundari.

Thanks for your advice, guys. Reps added.

UsedAgain, it's interesting you say MobScene.net will sell in the $xx range since I previously asked for an appraisal of that name on NP and I got shot figures in the high $xxx range. That seemed a little high to me, which is why I'm asking for 2nd and 3rd opinions.

Here's the search volume Google reports on each of the above expressions:
- "love scene": 90K/month
- "mob scene": 1K/month
- "listen to radio": 110K/month
- "cheap music downloads": 12.1K/month

I should add:
- LoveScene.net: Initially reg'd in 1999
- MobScene.net: Initally reg'd in 2003
- ListenToRadio.net: Initially reg'd in 2005 (surprisingly recent!)
- CheapMusicDownloads.net: Also initially reg'd in 2005

Based on these findings I'm thinking of seeking out a quick flip on MobScene.net and developing the others. Agree/disagree?

LoveScene is your strongest, and like wine the age only improves the flavor of the domain.
Listentoradio was actually regged about 2002 according to nameserver records. It seems to have dropped in 2005, which I am guessing is when you acquired it.

Search volume definitely determines a large part of your domain's value. You can see the two I appraised higher are in that category. Also they have advertising links when searched and this makes them more beneficial to you as a webmaster. Getting the traffic is still up to you but at least getting the advertising will be easy.
