Hosting multiple domains on GoDaddy?

Hi there,

Yesterday I bought some economy webhosting from GoDaddy thinking that I could host about 3 or 4 minisites i've been working on, however is this not possible without using web forwarding?

If not I can't see anything on their site about a certain amount of days you can get your money back?

Well, you should ask them because that's why you pay your host - so you'll have support when you need it!

They'll know better than any of us.

economy hosting at godaddy only allows for one domain, sorry. you'd have to buy deluxe or better to get multiple websites, but even then i wouldn't recommend using them because all your email address are assigned to only one domain and you can't have [email protected] and [email protected]; it would all have to be [email protected], [email protected], etc which sucks.

aha, just I just figured out i needed to upgrade to deluxe to get the multiple websites, thanks for your help, I will email them to see if I can cancel and get money back if not i guess i'll upgrade as the email thing isnt a problem to me,

ok looks like I can't get my money back so I think i'll just upgrade, just before I do i just wonder if i can have it confirmed that you can host unlimited amount of mini sites without web fowarding and stuff?

Most hosts with cpanel allow unlimited sites to be hosted . I usually host 40-50 sites with one hosting package.

Yup, took the plunge and upgraded and its all sorted now, cheers everyone

Conclusion: You can host multiple domains without the use of web forwarding only on godaddy deluxe hosting and above
