Hosting Minisites - Help..

We recently had some minisites developed for some good domain names we own. The person developing the minisites promised 2 day turnaround for 5 sites. Its been 7 days and work is not complete. On the 3 sites he completed he still is using his AdSense account. Worst part is he hosts the sites.

We want to prevent this problems in the near future and have many more minisites to develop.

Main thing here is WE WANT TO HOST OUR OWN SITES!

I would like to get recommendations as to what is the best CMS software to do this.

We would also need help setting it up.

any ideas and proposales are appreciated.

This should not be a problem if you just change your domain DNS server to another temperary address. You could probably get a cheap hosting package from Godady, 1and1 or many other providers.

As for CMS, depending on your "minisites", it might be an overkill using a CMS if you don't have multiple people doing revisions and updates at the same time.
