.HOMES re-released

I received in a Uni Newsletter that .HOMES has been released without restrictions. Did anyone else see that and try to register any domains. It was tough going. Most were already taken or very premium prices from the registry. I did manage to get OFFSHORE and LAKESIDE for discounted reg fee :)

Whilst I was searching. I found RETAIL.DOMAINS available, so took that too :)

holy .homes domains batboy!! unreal
artstar....your response to Scott's aka "onspec" post from back in February mirrors my sentiment. That was just 90 days ago, but a lot can happen in 90 days.

I don't have near the industry experience that either you or Scott have, but like My Mantra, "Make Something Happen" says, I do my best to make something significant happen every day of my life:xf.smile:

Dominion.domains aka DominionDomains(.)com (a domain I gifted/gave them about 45 days ago) happens to be headquartered in my hometown. As it turns out the management at Dominion.domains had zero appreciation for my gesture:xf.frown:

I'm reasonably certain that senior management at Dominion Enterprises who owns Homes.com, and I believe owner of Dominion.Domains, is probably following me and this thread wondering what I might have to say next. As you may have noticed i'm as transparent as anyone posting on NP and my transparency has served me well throughout life.

The last thing I'll share is my Virginia License plates read, "NameGuy", and as such I'm actually involved in what is referred to as the re-branding of "Hampton Roads". In addition to some other names I'm recommending is, Dominion Virginia, and one might think that Dominion Enterprises might want to get to know me just in case our region were to become Dominion!!!

EREALESTATE.HOMES

thx alot! I just cancelled it, doh

It's a common mistake. A lot of people think "realtor" is a generic term, but it isn't.
There have been several court cases on the subject.

On top of "real estate", "realty" is a generic term also.

EREALESTATE.HOMES
arstar...sorry I didn't catch that for you, but to make it up to you I'm looking into a key contact for the .realty extension where CentralNic is the registry. For example, eBuy.Realty is available to buy for reg fee of $26. And for the record, I'm uncovering more and more what I consider corruption and dirt in this industry than I first thought when i landed here just 18 months ago. I'll keep you posted via PM or email, and the best of luck to you.

Also for the record, poster Brad aka bmugford is right about "realtor" being trademark protected. He's so smart, maybe he can help with my investigation into all the corruption I'm uncovering in this industry every day. I feel as though I'm back in the investigations business when I owned a licensed private investigation business called InQuisitor Investigations for about 20 years.

Thanks Brad for all your help..I wouldn't still be here without you:xf.wink:

Ive noticed that not alot or sales for .realty, .realestate or .homes has been made.

Namebio shows 5 .realty names sold back in 2017 and the .homes and .realestate tld are not even listed on namebio.

Sedo has a whole 2 .homes domains listed at present b4 my 5 show up on there and has only 46 .realty domains posted and zero with any bids. plus 34 .realestate domains with zero bids too

im not seeing a whole lot of interest in the realestate tlds other than .house which is by far the leading realestate tld.

i think the 5.homes i have are enough for now

.house is the way to go i think

artstar...sales for .realty and .homes will be scaling at an ever increasing rate once our marketing engine builds up steam. I recently made a strategic contact with the .Realty folks where I believe sales of .Realty will catch up with .Homes and exceed them by year end imho(y)

Just as an aside...this weekend is Memorial weekend and I've lost several friends in years past to the tragedy of war. One of my very best friends and his service dog Tulip play golf with me every week. My friend has a traumatic brain injury from an explosion that occurred in Iraq in 2007, and he lost several of his friends in the same explosion. Part of why I'm still working (for I could be retired) is to give back to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Another reason why I'm still working is because I love a challenge, and if my past experience is any indication of success in the brand and domain industries, the world is my stage:xf.wink:
Enjoy your weekend!

Can someone please educate me. Reading all the posts about San Antonio Homes
With the Google algorithm, in the search results, does the algorithm know the difference between a .com or a .homes Does the algorithm read the full word or does it also read the domain extension. When i type in San Antonio Homes the domain extension shows up on page 2 as SanAntonio.homes. Does Google search include the dot in the domain or does it only read SanAntoniohomes as 3 words connected as one word. Hope this makes sense. If it does not recognize the domain extension then surely the only purpose for the .com extension is this is what people are using to search because they dont know the .home extension. It then stands to reason that the word SanAntoniohomes would be very good for SEO and keywords. Visitors wont type in SanAntoniohomes.com or SanAntoniohomes.homes. A visitor will only type in SanAntoniohomes. The visitor will then see the domain on Google. So then in my limited understanding the .homes will be really good to have a unique domain, but to make sure to use SanAntoniohomes in the SEO

from what i know the tld has nothing to do with the search algo. its the keywords on your site that it refers to and ranks your site accordingly. i could be wrong but i dont think so . any seo pro can clarify

no matter what you reg someone is always going to degrade it. dont mind the naysayers as they r all over this site. move on and take it all with a grain of salt as the negative comments r a dime a dozen. no one ever gives a positive review unless u r rs or fs selling domains. its so common i just laugh at them even though they have been on np for 10 years or more its the same responses day in day out for all this time.

how about getnicked.homes.

artstar. Yes i have noticed the negativity. My thoughts are, with all the negative comments how many domains have these people actually sold. With alot of my 5g domains, i have actually created about 10 websites, and all are on the first page of Google. For the past few weeks i have started receiving requests for paid posts on my websites. For me i feel this will add good resell value when 5G goes global next year. For me i am adding value and when i do sell the domains they will be established sites. Considering my only cost is $12 a year, i see that as a good investment.

also bought golfestate.homes
It's interesting that you own golfestate.homes because I own golfclub.homes and the registry, Dominion Domains, has held golfcourse.homes back as a "Premium" domain and is asking $1,099.99 for it at GD/Afternic.

Of the three I like Golfcourse.homes the best and I do believe a builder or realtor (end user) would buy that before the other two. It's also interesting that GD values Golfcourse.homes at $930 and Golfclub.homes at $828.

Finally, Dominion.domains who are aka DominionDomains(.)com (i personally gifted/gave that name to them 60 days ago) is the perfect example of what Verisign refers to as "Hoarders and Scalpers" Not only did they try and stiff me for $64,000 for the domain HomeSweet.Homes when they learned I might be interested, their three tiered standard Premium pricing where they ask $1099.99 for their least expensive domain, $2749.99 for their mid level Premium domain, and $5,499.99 for their highest standard Premium domain, is pricing you can see on Go Daddy.

It's interesting that I hand registered and own Sunset.homes that GD values at $1,249, and Dominion.domains still owns Sunrise.homes that GD values at $1,189, and guess what Dominion is asking for it? They're asking $5,499.99 via Go Daddy, and I'm sure if they heard I might be interested they would probably take it off sale, and try to sell it to me for $64,000:xf.rolleyes:

The ironic thing here is that Dominion.domains sold me Sunset.homes for $10, and now that we're competitors trying to sell similar names, I've no doubt I'll smoke them in the marketplace:xf.wink:

If you go back to a post in this thread (pg 18) by onspec aka Scott Smith of Canada, you'll read where he says in order for .homes to be a successful nTLD, the full and complete cooperation of all parties concerned needs to happen. Initially i sought out Dominion.domains to work with, but since they've show their true colors, there's no way I can work with hoarders and scalpers...i guess I'm just a tad too ethical.

That's all for now folks....enjoy your summer(y)
