.HK Domains - HELP PLEASE

Hi Guy's,

I have today found three excellent domains that are "available"

I was very surprised to see these names available - I double checked on Domaintools.com - Who.is and a few other site and the domains appear to free.

So I registered them with AsiaRegistry.com - $68 each domain expensive but well worth it IMO!

The domains are now pending registration and this has been over 5hrs is this normal for AsiaRegistry.com? Does anyone know?

Also what are peoples thoughts about .hk domains?

I havent heard of many domain name sales?

Does anyone know of these?

Im looking for help on all of the above.

I believe there are still premium keywords available but the registry won't let the applications for certain domains go through, they are kinda reserved. Good luck

I don't want to burst your bubble or anything, but asiaregistry, europeregistry, africaregistry, asiaregistry,americaregistry, I've heard nothing but bad stories about them. They all belong to the same company - Instra Corporation.

We're actually in the process of looking for a .hk ourselves. I'll let you know if we find a reliable registrar.

Try here, somewhat cheaper than those not so good registrars but very few .hk sales although I did sell 9 idn.hk last year as a package for $xxxx

Casino.hk I think went for $25K? amazing really as gambling outside gov confines is illegal.

.hk is only USD27 at webnic.cc, provided you have an account. If you have few domains, it is actaully make sense to sign-up an account so to enjoy wholesale pricing and at the same time have access to domain management tool.

webnic.cc looks sweet, especially because we're looking for several ccTLD's in asia. What's the catch if we want to sign up?
