Historical domain usage data?

Hi. I know about archive.org ,
but it doesn't have alot of websites archived.

Where can I find out what a website was used for in the past, if it is not archived at archive.org?

I am asking this, because I am not interested in some of the sickness sites on the internet from perverse and/or creepy and such, and owning such sites might be 'self-defamatory' and would likely bother me, so I don't want those sites.

On the other hand, some url domain names might be better.

Anyone know where else I can look at what was on a url domain in the past for content?

Domain registrar history starting from 1995 available.
It's a paid service though. They provide 3 days free trial.
