I'm Judy Belt from Frederick Maryland and I joined to learn as much as possible about all things related to internet marketing. I've been here less than 20 minutes and already I know more than I did before.
I'm an intern with a Maryland search engine marketing firm. I was told to search for and sign up to a dozen forums on different topics to give me some background on the industry. As an SEO firm I'm told the domain name should be the keywords our customers are wanting to show up in Google for. It never ocurred to me that people might bid on a domain name or that some of you use buying and selling domian names as a business in itself.

This entire industry is alien to me, this is a 180 degree change from my previous profession. I feel overwhelmed at the volume of mental data I have to take in. Please forgive me if I ask a silly question. My boss keeps saying he learned everything he knows from online forums and I'm to do the same if I want to keep my job.
