Hey everyone! My name's Omar (my biz partner is Will, hence the username OmarAndWill lol) and I just wanted to say thanks for all the great advice I have been reading on this forum.
I am pretty new to domaining but not the internet. I have been doing things online since around 2009. I have done a lot of SEO work, built websites and actually sold a few on websites like Flippa. After a few years of doing that things didn't according to plans and I decided to start different ventures. I heard of domaining and new about domain names since I made websites in the past but didn't understand the depth of "domaining".
Anyway, I had remembered my dad telling me he sold a domain he had hand regged, he had sold it for around $960. And another one for like $400. But then he didn't pursue it! Well, now I am looking to learn all I can and also maybe help out in any way that I can as well.
On another note, I've actually made some domain sales in the past few months as well since I "sort of" can spot a good domain when I see it (but I still have tons of room for improvement of course)
Some sales up to date would be...
bought a .org (education niche) for $12 sold it for $150
bought a .info (animal niche) for $12 sold it for $80
bought a .info (health niche) for $12 sold it for $90
So as you can see, I'm very much a beginner. Looking forward to learning from the community!
