Well, the fact that it's illegal in the US could pose a problem. However, it's not illegal everywhere in the world. The name does have a nice ring to it. And the topic of the content is obvious from the name. Maybe someone in Amsterdam will want it.

I'd say development could really improve this domain's value, but I'm not sure of the legal implications. I'd say mid $xx now. If you can develop it I bet traffic would be pretty good , in which case the value could be low $xxx.

Remember that even though hemp cultivation is illegal in America, we still sell pipes, roach clips, etc. I could buy an issue of High Times magazine just down the road at a gas station. I like the domain. Risky Americans might pay up to $200 for the domain as-is but finding such a buyer would be near impossible to do.

The state Assembly of Cailifornia recently approved a bill that would add California to the growing number of states seeking to legalize the cultivation of industrial hemp — a biological relative of marijuana.
Lawmakers voted 41-30 to pass the bill, sending it to the Senate. If senators also approve it, the proposal would go to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has not taken a position on it.
Supporters insist hemp is a safe product that could become a cash crop for farmers because of its use in a long list of products from soap and cosmetics to rope and luggage.

Try selling it to someone in the Netherlands were drugs are legal :P. Mid xxx for right buyer, but ONLY for right buyer.

as everybody else said it is illegal so this brought the value down, but if you sell it to somebody else in other countries they might give you mid-high xx and even more if you find a right buyer
