My "real" job is in the area of marketing and advertising, and IMHO this is one that you may consider marketing to the end-user scene rather that waiting for it to "maybe" evolve some traffic. I know I frequently see ads & brochures around for companies that offer to re-pave or seal-coat driveways. If I owned a driveway business, and I was sending out thousands of brochures a year, I know I'd much rather have Driveways.us plastered on it than tuckerandsongeneralcontractors.com (no offense meant to this fine business as I found them with a 10 second yahoo search, but JEEZ that's LONG!). Plus, businesses like that are used to dropping serious cash for the machines and equipment they use. Sell them on the value of a short, highly brandable domain (perhaps with a nice, basic site already installed???) and they just might get their checkbook out on the spot.
