I am running a website

my index page is showing an error on it instead of loading.....

the website is www.voterudy08.com

it worked fine yesterday and for the past 30 days.....i have no clue about programming so i am looking for help.

I am using the rsstohtml script on for the index and i am now recieving this error:

$errorCode = 11
xml_error_string() = undefined entity
xml_get_current_line_number() = 242
xml_get_current_column_number() = 41
xml_get_current_byte_index() = 62406

I don't know if i should reload the script or what....i really do not want to try to much without advice so i don't mess up to much.

-Thank you for your time.

it looks like a custom output. It certainly isn't an error message output by PHP (that is of course assuming the code that output this is PHP)

perhaps post a little of the code that would echo the error code etc if there was one? it looks custom, as mentioned, so "error code 11" isn't much help, i'm afraid.

Sorry I was typing when i got the next post it is just a free script where i build an html template and the php links to that to provide the rss feed. I would not even know what to post......i understand that it is hard to help when i cannot provide alot of information.

Yes the script is php...also i have not messed with it for about 2 weeks and that was just to re-adjust the adsense.

But then again i did get a hate mail from someone thinking that it was going right to rudy giuliani even though i disclose it is not affiliated with him.

Could someone of adjusted my script without me knowing?

-Thank you for wour time.

It is possible but that would mean there is a security vulnerability within the script (or another script on the server).

The most likely cause if you have not changed the files in any way is that some configuration has been changed on the server.

It is a godaddy server....should i just go ahead and reinstall the script and see if it happens again?

trial and error to see if what problem really is.

Thank you

You could give it a try, That would then eliminate anything you may have done to cause it if it was indeed something you did.

Thank u........i will try that...

I think i also got a bit paranoid after the email which i did not anticipate from running a site like this....did not know if someone might have done a whois search and might want to mess with all my other sites.

Just trying to make baby steps in correctring the problem....but i must agree after reading here and some other research that a quick upload of the script will correct it all.

I am not going to try tonight (have some work to do)....but will try first thing in the morning.

I will post if that is all it takes or if it messes up again after the re-load.
