Help with adult name development

Hi all,
I have lotsasex.info and I am looking to develop it but I don't know much (anything) about the online adult industry.
What is a good hosting site for adult sites, and any tip for developing adult themed sites?

Web hosting companies do not provide web development services. I think that you need to do the search to find that separately

I know that glowhost.com and serverpoint.com allow to host adult content web sites on their servers.
These companies are reliable and you may use their dedis as I think you need a dedi for your web sites, OP.

Serverpoint - It has been a few days and I still have no ideas about how to start with an adult site so I think I will just try to turn it over/flip the name if I can.
I don't even look at these sort of sites. I just got it because it was cheap (as a .info) and I thought it had potential, it probably has - for someone else.

Not one single soul on this planet uses a search engine or type in the keywords you have in your domain name, before you make any further investment - may I make a friendly suggestion that you drop the domain name from development! If your lucky, you may find someone who may take the domain name from you. Otherwise - you are not going to go far with it. You have already spend money on requiring the domain name and that is a loss.

In life we must make mistakes to learn from it. Let this lesson be about domain name keywords and how important they are for optimization and for users to type in!

Lets say you develop it and advertise it on TV - from my case studies over the years. I have learned that 99.98% of users at the second they sit next to their computer to visit your site, they will type in most cases the words correctly, but finish with a .com! Even though they saw another extension, the brain is used to .com!

I see this happening all the time!!!!

Anyone who develops a domain name, should always consider a .com - why give away your hard earn money for marketing to someone else!

start an adult blog (simple for a beginner) , you can use thumblogger / com for that - no hosting fees, you get the subdomain from them, and they take 1 advertising space, so it's good to make some money, because you don't pay for anything. Don't get into adult image hosting. Why ? I used to own a big one for 2 years (alexa 20k), you can make good money on that off course, but you will also spend the most off your time removing illegal materials, copyrighted images, etc. Go for something with paid subscriptions and put your money into advertising, much better results and 100x less maintenance. Forget about advertising AFF / com, go for blacklabelads or adultadworld.

and yes, find a different domain forget .info

I was told that .info domains are not great for Adult sites unless it contains a good keyword. Also coz most people consider them as spam sites. Going for a .com or .net would be better I think.

There are many adult sponsors out there that give you content and tools to add stuff to your website. Many have free tube scripts you can use which will pull clips from the sponsors site and display them on yours with your referral link earning you money per join. If you needed help setting the script up they would prob. help you out as well if you are serious about promoting them.

A lot of the content can be added by simply copy/pasting code to your site. A good combo these days seems to be tube sites with clips under 5 min. ( dont want to give away too much free ) mixed in with some adult dating and cam ads.

The bandwidth usage is next to nothing as the sponsors themselves host all or most of the content, I use HostGator and havnt had any prob. yet just make sure the host you choose has the required server features.

I prob. wouldnt dev. this name myself for various reasons, some mentioned above but that doesnt mean you cant succ. develop it and make money, a domain is a domain, its what you do with it that really matters.
