I am new to the domaining industry and havent been successful in selling any domains ive created. I currently hold onto 23 domain names and am getting mixed valuations from the automatic appraisals. I know there is a lot of experienced domainers on this forum and would appreciate if anyone could recommend what to list my domains for.

i appreciate all recommendations as to what my domains should be listed for on the market. The automatic appraisals seem to be all over the pace with prices as low as $8 to as high as $21,900. Thanks. Happy new year.

The first 5 you should drop or auction them off on NamePros for $1 each. AuctionHut.ca probably has some value but probably under $100. You'd need to develop it so that "Auction Hut" actually means something to Canadians. If you do that you might even get a few hundred for it.

Dave, you should really be posting this in the appraisals section, as copper suggested. But I think you definitely should not be buying any more domains, because your choices are really bad (unless you know something I don't)

Being successful in domaining is the anomaly.

To begin with, automated appraisals are a joke.

An appraisal is worth nothing if there is no buyer.

Domains seldom sell unless they are exceptional and somebody wants them. Most people will just settle for whatever available domain.

Frankly I doubt anybody would be motivated enough to buy any of your domains. Anybody can buy available domains like you did. Buying is easy, selling is difficult.

If you really want to sell, you need to learn, and set the bar high when buying domains.

It's going to be extremely tough to build a healthy portfolio on regfee domains. Any domain that is still available is available because nobody would even pick it for $10. The odds that it can be resold for a good profit are extremely slim. There are exceptions but the odds are stacked against the registrant.

The odds that it can be resold for a good profit are extremely slim. There are exceptions but the odds are stacked against the registrant.

I've managed to do it and I've heard of other domainers that were able sell reg free domain for profit.

I sold cognacreviews.com and latesttrance.com which were reg free and were good names.
