Yeah call/email them asap for they somehow think you have bought a domain from them ... so ... yeah ... good luck with this ....

heres they email response:

All domain names acquired on your behalf through Pool.com are the direct result of active backorders, exactly as they were entered into your account. Adding a domain to any backorder list(from the Hotlist, Keyword Alert email, Pending Delete List, or Backorders page) absolutely requires a physical login to the user account, and as a result, Pool.com does not provide refunds for any acquired domains.

It is essential that you review your backorder list each time that you log out of your user account in order to minimize the likelihood of backordering an incorrect name. Pool.com cannot be held responsible for the domains that users add to their list in error.

they is no recourse to end this bid!! which i did not made even though it was 3 am in the morning!

this sucks!!:( :(

If you get emails from them with domains matching your keywords...and you click on one of those names it is backordered for you...could this be the case for you?

Yes, I'be heard of this happening before; its a misleading way of getting bids on dropping names. You *might* be able to get out of this one by threatening to go to your credit card company, but then you might get cutoff from ever using Pool again.

Do let us know how this turns out.

If it enters Phase I, doesn't that mean someone else has bid on it? If there was only one, Pool wouldn't go to auction. If there are two bidders, it would depend which Pool recognizes as the first bidder. That one is responsible for the default bid of $60. If you are the second bidder, you could do nothing, and the other guy would win the auction by default. Not sure of this but I think this is what happens.

I agree with spikedo.
Before you knew immediately after the domain was aquired if you as the 1st bidder was considered the "high bidder". I don't know how it is now.
To be honest, I don't grasp the sense of this new system. For what is this all about? Will this bring in more money for Pool?

I think Pool.com has recently changed their rules so that people who miss out on backordering the name with them can "buy in" to all of the auctions on the site. I don't think this is helpful at all for their service, but it probably means more money for them.

Anyway, check out the site for more info on this.
