Help Please (with Sedo CTR)

Sure would love to read any suggestion for improving my CTR at sedo.com ..my site http://secretsites.info is getting a lot of traffic (450 plus this month).but zero clicks through! Not sure if it is because of termplate (classic) or something else...Been reading previous threads and I am getting the impression that a lot of it has to do with the template (not to worried about the keywords for this site).. Thanks for reading this thread and any suggestions!

I've experimented with many different templates at Sedo, and my link click rates are terrible, even on sites that get decent traffic and have links that are 100% relevant to the website. A few of my sites get clicks every day, and it's always the same sites, even though there are others that get more traffic. I wish I knew the answer :?

I can relate..I just figure that the "classic" should be the one template that most "viewer" are familiar with and "trust"..Sure hope that someone will give some kinda of advice!

I am beginning to think maybe I should use the "adult" template as my "adult domains are getting better CTR but real low traffic..(the traffic for http://secretsites.info has nearly double since my first posting in this thread)

I'm using the adult red template on some of my non adult domains. I just wish Sedo would allow pics from non adult categories to be included in the adult templates. That would help a lot. I find the adult red template has good CTR.

Your domain is a prime candidate for domain sponsor. Their auto optimisation will take the guess work away from you.

One of the best ways to monatize a name is to first find out what people are looking for by checking its previous use, incoming links etc

urltrends says it has 29 Incoming Links but it is not listed in archieves.

If you type secretsites.info into Google the first result mentions the domain on the page, it is listed in amongst some very very tasteless domains many of which are related to rape, incest etc :td: It looks like a spam post by someone.

Maybe the traffic is coming from some tastless private forums ?
(just guessing).

I would'nt recommend keeping that page open very long (even though there's nothing dodgy on it apart from the domains) It tried to automatically download something after a few minutes, not sure what though !

I did check put Google and your are right it was part of a spam post, this person hitted some forums, a few guestbook etc

kinda confused about the download? The site (no content) is parked at Sedo.com.. Pretty sure that sedo wouldn't try this stuff, at least I haven't seen it at the other Sedo parked domains...I first came across this domain in a "dropped domain" thread and I checked it at whois, and since it wasn't registered, I registered it (.99 cents) then parked it a Sedo, when this site started to have better traffic than my other domains (except one) I figured I hit upon a money maker, figured I was getting the hits from things like the "Davinci code" and other secret societies, so then I also registered secretfellowships..I still think it is a good site to park (right now) and just before this posting, I did change the template (adult red)....not sure now what to do..especially about the "history"

I wouldn't recommend "classic." Depending on the domain, "lite" or any of the newer ones would probably work better.

thanks healingsites.. I lately change the template to "adult red"..will try it for a while and see if any improvements
