Hi, I find this domain one word name for sale. In the platform it says "Add to cart" meaning I can buy it
I searched in Google, I found it's a name of a company. Then I went to ICAAN lookup site to see if it has an owner. Yeah, it's says "prohibited transfer" expired date 2029.
I am confused, why it shows it's for sale in other platforms while it's prohibited to transfer? Is there a risk if I buy it? Is there other sources sites to see if it's owned.

The "prohibited transfer" is the way all domains should be because it is a layer of protection against unauthorized transfers. If you buy the domain from the owner, then the owner unlocks the domain and the "prohibited transfer" changes to a status of "active" at which point you may apply for a transfer using the authorization code that the owner gives you.
