60 Days ICANN rule?? A domain has to be within a registrar for 60 days before it can be transferred to another one. That could be it.

I think that domain is still transferring to Godaddy and it should probably complete tonight or the next day or so. When I transferred my domains to Godaddy it usually takes 5-6 days. I think that the transfer is gonna complete soon though.

If he transferred it to Godaddy and Godaddy renewed it the Icann rule wouldn't apply.

Root did you renew it before transferring to Godaddy?

That a domain is still vissible is common with registrars.
You should receive a mail from godaddy soon, saying that the transfer is completed.
You should contact godaddy if it takes longer than usual.

has you checked the .org domain has stayed on enom for more than 60 days since you registered it?

It sounds like the domain was transferred from eNom to GoDaddy, but that GoDaddy's backend didn't pick up on the change immediately (which can happen)

The whois status is normal - PIR, who run .org, set a lock at the registry level after a domain has transferred between registrars to help prevent fraud / domain hijacks
