Hello, yesterday I send some email to owner because I registered a domain ( @dmedia dot info ) , for which a lot of other extension are not available. Few hours ago, someone has replied , and asked me the price.
It's one on my first transaction. It's a good one generic domain I think, what fair price for him and me can I suggest ?
Thanks !

Hi,

I was in your shoes couple of days ago... I think you should make up your mind about the last price you'll take for the domain and put that at the back of your mind. Tell the potential buyer that you are presently accepting reasonable offers for the domain. He'll send you his offer, a reasonable one, the reasonable there will make it higher than what he'd have offered without using that word, if it meets up (fine) or even if it doesn't meet up with your last price, tell him he can still do better.

This way, you won't throw away a potential buyer and you'll also sell for a good price. Also, perform a quick check on the buyer, maybe you'll even ask for more when it's certain he'll pay it.

Good Luck..! :xf.grin:

Being a .info domain, not a dictionary one word and just registered, I think that with a couple of hundreds both of you should be happy with a fast transaction.

Usually, It's hard to sell an info domain, it has to be pretty strong and connected with the meaning of info...a geo domain, medical, travel or others.

i will quote Xxx$ , something in the 900$ range to start somewhere,

try to not move down too fast, be patient and calm

go to namebio and collect info about previous sales that sold for x,xxx$,
this provide a value estimate of the domain with a list of .info domains ,
this way the 900$ will look like a very fair offer

Make sure they don't ask for an appraisal because that's a scam to get you to pay for an appraisal then you never hear from them again.
