Hello from NYC

Hi everyone!
I am totally new to the domain business. Since I have a quite successful website (1400 daily unique visitors), I started to hear a little about domains from my site manager, and I became intrigued.

I did some Googling on the topic, read articles here and there, and stumbled upon this nice website. Just to get started, I bought two domains on ebay.

I assume that the domains I bought are not worth much, perhaps even less than the $20 I paid... But you gotta start somewhere!

Anyway, I'd appreciate if I can be shown where the following three topics are best discussed here:

1) An overview on domain buying and selling, on the level of a newbie like me.
2) Evaluation of the two domains I bought.
3) Questions regarding the upcoming .nyc domain.
