I discovered this love almost a year ago, I know because I'm now looking at renewal season square in the face. I hold a little over 400 domains at this point, just love'em. I've got a wide range of TLD's, ccTLD's etc. I look for amusing and investment quality and a few hacks for fun. A few of my favorites are: BlackPOTUS.com (from the drop), SpookyDude.Me, GomerPyle.net, ForCripesSake.com, FreakingGoodBeer.com, KineticMilitaryAction.com, Starfleet-Academy.net (that I picked up in the drop), CottonTexas.com, GeologyRocks.Me, JetPilot.US, RecordGold.com and hacks like; CoordinatedUniversalTi.me. I used to have Charlie-Sheen.net, but his lawyer had other ideas.
It's been a year of daily learning and fun. I once discovered a domain I wanted but had to wait till after work to buy it, by then it was gone, lesson learned. I also laughed out loud when I read that Rick Schwartz had bought, PigeonShit.co so I bought PigeonShit.US only to discover the .US registrar has a naughty word list and "shit" was on it, so lost that one.
We've all discovered that cash parking is not viable any longer so I am trying to move toward better cash flow options. I look forward to doing a lot of reading and learning here on NamePros and will add my two cents worth when I know what I'm talking about and can add to the discussion in a positive way.
