Hello everyone! My name is Adam, but feel free to call me by my online alias, VersedMocha. I am a website developer who is trying out domain flipping on the side. So yeah, that's me. :)

Welcome, Adam.

In addition to the regular Namepros rules, here are others you must follow:
- never let us see you naked
- must buy free beer for a year for first 3 members here to greet you [edit: I mean, 4 members]
- never call fresh hand-regged domains 'premium' when you post them here for appraisal
- if someone offers you thousands of dollars for your fresh regged name/s, but they ask you to get an appraisal of your domain first, you must post their email info here under 'appraisal scam'.
- if you have any single grown daughters or unmarried sisters, under 400 pounds and with acceptable hygiene, please pm me for further instructions
- if you are hand-regging rather than buying aftermarket domains, please reg one domain at a time, ask for appraisals here, learn from what we say, and apply that to the next reg. Do not reg 50 names at once and then ask for appraisals. We seriously do not want you to lose your hard earned greenbacks during your harsh learning curve
- finally, it appears you have a sense of humor, which is welcome here, use it often and never lose it

:)

Welcome Adam.

Just 5 tips.

1) Read, read, oh and READ. :gl:

2) Always look for a discount code BEFORE registering a name - can reduce the cost tremendously! B-)

3) Use the experience you have gained from your life (including what you read here) to decide if a domain name is worth registering.

4) As you are a developer then this one should be easy for you, think what type of site a domain name could be used for and whether it will get visitors.

5) As you read through all these threads remember that there are no 'Golden Rules' to success - but the chances of success are increased with hard work (learning, reading, researching, etc.) and the ability to realise when you have made a mistake and admit it to yourself (it is nobody else's business), and learn from it/them.

Now come on, go make a $million in your first year and have us all in awe. :tu:

Probably the best rule I have ever read in my entire life. And I, my friend, have seen WAYYY too many forum rules.

Also, thanks to everyone else for the welcome and the information. *cough* TheBaldOne *cough*

A big welcome to my fellow noobie. You already have the rules laid out for you, even though Bannen had to make some suspicious additions. :D
