Hello all, my name is Marc and I’m very new to the world of Domain names, web sites, servers, hosts, all of it. I am setting up my first website and am a bit baffled by all the different prices on Domain names so I came here through a link in a forum I visit to see if I could get some of my questions cleared up. You have a very informative site so far, and if you see me around posting what probably seems to you to be a stupid question, please have a bit of patience with me as I stated I’m a complete nOOb.

Thanks for the warm welcome every one. I've been looking around a lot today and have actually began to understand a little about what goes on here. I haven't been posting to much, usually don't until I get comfortable with a site, but I'm getting there. Again thanks to all that replied to my thread.
