Having trouble getting started with domaining

I have 8 to 10 domains that are just sitting there doing nothing and would love to make money sooner than later. I wanna really get into domaining but I'm not sure where to start... I get stumped on whether to find buyers/end users, park with ads and offer form, mini site/blog or develop.

Adding to the problem is that I have experience web designing and developing so I tend to lean towards developing domains which most likely won't yield income sooner than later.

Any advice on how to get out my own way and fully get started domaining and making income?

Hi

i'd say, first "list" all of them on sedo and change nameservers to theirs.

set pricing at "make offer"

then pick the best name out of the group and start developing it.

if any of your domains receive visitors, then those may be best to work on first.

imo....

what if I'm barely getting 5 visitors a month on these domains? would parking it yield any real revenue or would the traffic increase significantly from being parked there?

:talk:

I have a domain, which only got 1 click out of 6 visitors in a particular month, but that one click paid $43.00

parking a domain does not necessarily help to increase visitors, but depending on the actual domain, it may gain visitors as time passes.

an example would be a "future forward" domain name relating to an emerging trend or technology

imo...

Interesting you say that; I feel like I tend to gravitate towards those "future forward" domains. Almost to a flaw. Is it okay for this to be the majority of your portfolio or is it better to diversify?
