Email him to see what happened.

If your e-mail address contains the domain you are selling, then yes, you should give them another e-mail address to contact you from.

You are going to lose all emails sent to your old address. So I hope you have emailed everyone you know with your new email address.

I think that he just used that email to sell the domain.

Yes, tell your new domain to the buyer.

I would personally never send money to a paypal email for a domain. How does he know you wont scam him?

Chances are he bought another domain name. There are millions of domains to be bought.

Next time, try using Escrow.com or let Sedo/Afternic handle the purchase.

I've been scammed before over $10 doing the Paypal thing.

It's just a matter of trust. These days, you have no clue who is on the other side of the computer sigh.

Solution: Hire a broker or Use Escrow or Use a domain brokerage (sedo)

At the same time the buyer is the one to be weary of in this situation. All they have to do is cancel payment on their credit card within 30 days and the seller is left with no money and no domain. In addition, if this does happen nothing can be done because Paypal specifically states that non-tangible items are not covered by their protection program and GoDaddy will not help you retrieve your domain if you authorized the push/transfer, once again stated in the ToS.

new question

after emailing end users, what do you do if more than 1 person replies. do you ignore the others and just focus on one end user? or do you email them all back informing them that others are interested and first to commit will get it
