I was curious whether any of our members have sold a domain name they later missed or regretted for some reason?

I only ask because I have acquired few names that I am willing to sell and I feel bad that I can't develop them but there is no way I can let them go at this time. I think I am attached.

I know how you feel about owing names that you know you can never develop but feel too attached to sell, i own about 10 decent quality .tv's that i will never get round to doing naything with but i just cant bring myself to let them go even though i have had offers that would make me a excellent ROI

Yes. Due to tasting, I decided to let one go that I saw later sell for low $xxxx. Basically I cancelled it, someone picked it up the next week and then sold it about 2 months later.

I am very upset I did it - but maybe I learnt a lesson.

Of the sales that have gone through, I probably regret selling JuegoGratis.tv the most. Although it is Spanish, it had really good traffic that was increasing everyone month and I could have used a turnkey gaming site to monetize on it.

On topic, yea I have a problem with holding onto these .TVs the names are just too good for me to sell at the moment but renewal rates are forcing me to.

I should register maryland.tv and virginia.tv for $500/year before the demand media take over. I moved on and bought some state/country names. That's alright now.

my 2008 outlook and esp. domain sales and buying is not to think about the "should have, could have" theory....

make the call and move on is my thinking for the new year....last year killed me in thinking what if, what if I didnt sell this name for this and etc...i had plentty of mishapes but this year i try not to worry about it and move on...tough goal to acheive..
