Have .cc domains gained any value?

Hi All,

Just wondering what the local consensus was on .cc domains? I think I have some pretty decent ones in my 'stable' and was just wondering what everyone's view on this extension was currently?

Here are a few I still hold:

deaf.cc
sent.cc
dakar.cc
kayaking.cc
pokertournaments.cc

and about 10 more....

Not much activity, but a lot more than other small island TLDs.

I was thinking of asking the same thing.... I think I would prefer a cc to a biz...or a .name.... not saying much tho really is it... .cc's are cheaper to reg than other ccTLD's... that helps with their appeal....

I only have one .CC (It is a LLL.CC). Maybe don't have much value in a short time

I also just bought namespace.cc, thats gotta be a good domain for a domainer to hold regardless of weather it cc or otherwise.

I've been buying a few .cc names, I can see this extention picking up value comparing to many of the other ccTLDs. Just got to look for very generic domains to invest in.

I saw an ad on TV last night for the new show about those cavemen guys on the Geico commercial. Their site is shown as cavemanscrib.cc, but that doesn't seem to work, while cavemanscrib.com does.

I put dnd.cc (dungeons and dragons) on the NP appraisal thread and barely got anyone to look at it, let alone respond with a value...guess that sort of sums it up.
