I know parking has been bad for years, but has it gotten even worse starting January?

Parking revenue is off by about 60% this month for me. I'm assuming it's seasonal. No one likes to spend money in January and Christmas credit card bills are due.

Yep, no ads. Zero. At bodis.

The traffic hasnt changed, its the ads that are missing which has changed. WTF.

I dont know what is happening with parking the last few days, but it seems Google has problems with determing the right keywords. CTR simply went to the bottom almost 2% at PC from 5+ and many clicks dont get credited lately. They are simply worth 0.00 USD, I bleieve Google cant determin the keywords right and that could be the reason getting solid clicks at 0.00 rate.

Today I squeezed my head to understand what was going on. Thanks for confirming that it wasn't just my domains.

Its horrible, vast majority of all the clicks on new domains are worth 0.00 or get deleted from my Parking accounts. Just because G. cant figure out the keywords for new domains, they think clicks are not valid.

Yes. Every year seems to get worse but recently there appears to be even more of a decline. It is so bad it's likely not worth time and energy setting it up except for some rare names which still get small revenue. Exception for using them is parked pages are still good as landing pages (if you don't have your own lander) with a link to make offer.

Jan to Dec for me:
~6 times less at Bodis...
~20% less with ParkingCrew.

i do not concentrate on parking at all.
unless you have some nice old generic names or know what you are doing whne bidding on auctions or regging for backlinks etc... then there is basivcally zero chance of making money with parking..

so if u do not have confirmed revenue names... its best you take them off parked ads and maximize your chance of a domain sale instead.. whcih is not maximized using a salebanner on a parked page at all imo.

the only names I do park are around 30... which i bought on np in past year or so... costing me around 1k total.... when I bought them I was basically paying round 12 months of revenue which is not bad.. but your still taking chances... I parked them on bodis cause I got bet results there among all other companies I used.. pc.. and voodoo.. plus their support is great and hard to beat.

my monthkly results are all over the place so I am not even sure if any patterns at all exist in terms of months vs revenue

if anyones wants to see my monthly results they are below. at least I made my investment money basck and hopefully I can make a bit of profit in future...

still I am jelous of folks who make nice 3 figures.. or even 4 figures per month.. heck.. some people still make 5 figures per month too I'm sure! lol crazy... I wonder if anyone makes 6fig per month in parking lol

Anyone realize that Bodis is now monetizing the email messages coming into your parked domains with them? Looks like they are using MailBoxParking.com. I bet they're keeping all the money to themselves (if there is any). The thing that pisses me off is that they didn't tell anyone they were doing this and certainly never shared any stats with me about it. And today I get a message from a large bank that accidentally typo'd an email address with sensitive information in it to one of my domains... And now they're freaking out about it - and I didn't even know that Bodis was doing this - and I never gave them permission and now I've got to deal with this shit over zero earnings from it.

I'm also pissed off that so many of these zero click landers are just scam artists trying to install viruses by convincing you your flash is out of date and needs updating and locking up your browser. Here we're at virtual war with Russian, North Korean and Chinese hackers and we're letting these fuckers simply buy ads to install viruses to unsuspecting idiots on computers. WTF?!? It's not worth the few pennies to me, yet its SO prevalent in parking right now. I never thought parking companies could stoop any lower than they do, but I've been proven wrong again and again.

Anyways, just be aware of what your parking company is doing with your domains. They're your domains, they will come after you. The parking companies do not care about anything other than how much $$ they can extract out of you, giving you as little as possible. I'm about to pack my domains and go somewhere else just to prove a point to Bodis...
