Has anyone sold the same domain name twice?

Years ago I hand registered CoolKisses as a .com and then sold it on. I don't remember how much for; but it would have been $50 or less. I only keep a check on sales over $50
A few days ago, I was checking on names I had previously sold, and found that this one had been dropped, so I re-registered it because I think it would be good for a dating site. Dating sites weren't such a big business when I first registered it. I put it on Bido and it was voted to auction very quickly, and goes on auction on the 18th. (Hopefully to sell)
Has anyone else ever sold the same name twice? or even more?

Regards

Ralph.

I have sold a website thrice.

Thing was that the guys who got the websites were not able to maintain it or do SEO etc.

After sometime the domain would drop or end up in parking.

I was not picking up same domain but I would register a similar domain and again start the website as it was once again a unique idea on the internet.

Only time I ever sold a domain twice was here on Namepros it was during the NP Chat Auction days.

Well that tops me. A website and a domain name.

I read here in NP someone that he sold a domain, then after couple years, he found the domain dropped, he regged it and sold it again. don't remember his name.

My very first domain name sale was in 2002 and I sold the name again in 2009.

I have a couple of names in my portfolio that I have previously sold to end users for a profit and then been able to catch them back again when they were going to lapse.

Sold one for 1k and then it dropped a few years later. Picked it back up and resold it for $500 since I had already made 1k on it. If it drops again maybe I'll go $250 next time.

I don't understand anyone paying 1K for a name and then dropping it; but it was good for you.
I'm going to check on more of the names that I previously sold.

You'd be surprised. I basically sell to mainly end users only and a few sales in the 5-10k range were bought years ago and although they haven't dropped them still no development. Sometimes early plans don't pan out as intended due to the domain being an alternate backup possibility, project abandoned due to budget or conflicts, change of direction etc... Would like to see everything I sell turn into a nice business but I know for a fact as I deal direct with end users that sometimes their plans don't pan out for one reason or another.

I once sold a domain for 3K but it expired after a year so I bought it back at namejet prerelease (with competition though). It hasn't sold again yet but I'm confident :)

I sold a domain at auction for $250 in 2011 and the guy never bothered to provide me his godaddy details after sending payment, made several attempts to contact, no follow-ups. :?:

I've sold several domain names on eBay where they let them drop and I re-registered them and sold them again. Low dollar sales tho, $xx

That's great. All those low dollar sales add up to high dollars.
I really must get round to checking more of my previous sales.

Good luck

Ralph.
