Is it possible to hand reg a LLLL.com? If so is it worth it to grab any available?

People let them go every day, but they are always either bought up during expiring domain auctions or caught on the drop, so, no you can't hand reg any. The buyout has held for a few years now.

Many drop each day and like mentioned above most are gobbled up, why I don't know, most of them are just random/nonsense letters.

I actually found and reg'd 2 LLLL.com today. Didn't know if that was that unusual.

I need to ask as I've seen the confusion in the past... when you say LLLL you mean 4 letters all A-Z right? Not including any numbers or dashes?

4 letter .coms usually don't last past the drop ('catching' them is different from a hand reg), even though they are usually snapped up, poor letter combos aren't worth much more than reg fee to a reseller.

me too...I paid high $XXX to have a custom script made 2 find, among other things, LLLL's that have been deleted from system and can be "hand" regged all over again...kinda boring, but worth every penny...

Very true, and if you get them at auction before they expire, you can get them with a bit of age on them.

I like ones that are memorable and pronouceable, even if they have mostly non-premium letters.

I agree. But for some reason they all seem to get regged again for 3x or more then reg fee. Godaddy seems to be a feeding frenzy for these types of LLLL.com's lately.
