I think your'e right actually. I didnt even consider GMT to be different from BST but now I know for future auctions lol. Still waiting on a reply from nev. in that case, despite your announcement of the auction being closed and the winner being PMed, the auction should've been over by 8pm GMT which is 9pm BST.

my bid of 18 was the highest before that particular time. i should be the rightful winner then, shouldn't i? thanks.
