No response from contact

I am trying to buy a domain from the current owner, but have gotten my emails returned with errors on both the admin and tech contacts. The domain has no active website currently. I have tried contacting the company which owns the nameservers on which it is parked (not an ISP) to see if they can get me in touch with the admin contact some other way (don't know if he does or ever worked there), but I got no response.

Has anyone ever run into this before, or can anyone think of any other way of contacting the owner? I really want the domain, and I think I've got a good chance of negotiating a sale if I can get to the owner. Thanks!

If you can't get through to his email then you could try writing a snail mail letter to the address on the domain's whois records. You could also call the phone number in the whois as well. Those are just a couple more options other than emailing the owner. Also did you do a search on the name to see if the owner has it at Sedo, Afternic, etc. where you could make an offer that route? :talk:
