I've been around for a while, keeping an eye on things from the safety of .shadows (what, no TLD yet? ... damn shame), but I thought I could finally poke my nose out a bit and at least say hi to all.
Long story short: started domaining at the beginning of this year, some 4 months ago started my shopping spree, regging some decent names in wrong extensions and apparently not so decent names in THE extension. Later I added some eBay and dropped names purchases in the mix, but so far I haven't had much luck in the way of sales (read: one only ... dot me, go figure). I guess that happens when you happen to cultivate pigeon shit names, right?
Anyway, been learning the ropes all along, doing a lot of reading (it never stops, doesn't it), shaking my head in disbelief at many a sale, parking domains back and forth, shifting them from one marketplace to another, adjusting prices over and over again and trying to figure things out in general and find my place under the sun in this brave new world of domaining (for me at least).
Before I retreat to my .shadows, I'd like to thank you all for worthy contributions to this forum. Much appreciated
I hope that eventually I'll be able to contribute myself and/or report something of value, but in the meantime I'll be around, quietly lurking and soaking in knowledge. Until later o/
