Long time lurker, first time poster. Really dig the discussion here, so decided to come out of the
shadows and do my part to add some mindshare.
My Role in the Domaining Arena
I'm less of a true "Domainer" and more of an "Internet Entrepreneur" in search of solid names with
development potential. Although the "futures trader" in me is attracted to the concept of buy-and-flip,
my varied background in marketing, design, writing, and multimedia production makes it a no-brainer
to go the development route. It's important to have an edge in a hotly contested business, and this,
for better or worse, is mine.
My Professional Background
25 years' professional writing experience (everything from ad copy to editorial content to feature film
screenplays - you name it, I've probably written it,) 25 years' professional graphic design experience;
a decade of running my own marketing firm; periodic stints trading the futures markets (30-yr Bond,
Stock Indices, Metals, Agriculturals, Energies, Forex,) most of these done simultaneously ("Hello, I'm
EvilBellyLint, and I'm a Workaholic.")
At the risk of boring you any further, long-story-short -- I think I just may have found the niche I've
been searching for. I look forward to getting to know all of you, sharing war stories as well as
celebrating successes, and contributing to what I feel is an industry loaded with untapped potential.
Thanks for allowing me into your home. I'll try not to overstay my welcome.
