"Grace cancel"

Hi guys

Newbie question here: How do you grace cancel a domain? as far as I was aware all reg sites will not refund the reg fee? Is this incorrect?

Depends on the Registrar and how many grace deletes they have left.

Are you able to reccomend any that would allow a grace delete in case I get a bad domain? :P

This is an old topic so don't post on it but it explains better than I could here...as I have never had need to delete a domain

Back in the old days though people would register thousands of domains just to test the parking revenue, if it made some money they kept them and if not they got rid of them.

In effect they abused it, and rather than them being fined or disallowed from ever registering anything again ICANN simply allowed it and now everyone suffers.

Moral of the story is that if there is any chance of it being dodgy or any chance of a typo then do not register it unless you are willing to wave bye bye to your munnies.

Just wondered since I've seen a lot of the experienced members on the appraisal boards telling members to "grace delete"
