The name is good. Can't say the same for the extention.

The fact that gourmetfoods.us sold for over 10k has no effect on your domain IMHO.
The ".us" version targets a very wide base of affluent consumers.
What's the population of West Samoa?

I say tops $100 just for keyword value, and I'm being generous.
I think you'll get much more from it over time if you develop with a few pages of content and collect ad revenue from it.

Its a great keyword combination, no doubt, but mmm the jury is still out on .ws. I just cant see it having a huge future...like so many of these new tld's...The only two relatively new tld's that seem to be cooking with gas, are .us and now finally, .info, with .co.uk probably the second best country lvl tld.

The Country's Name is "SAMOA" ,and has been for years
(yes ,DAZE,1997 before most of us even got into domaining.
