all the ext's have now been bought up, inc the .ws,speculation i guess.
Even if google don't change their name the important factor is how the public re-brand what they're looking for, which may well be gootube, or something very similar..

Just to add, my gootube has been getting quite a few type-ins..... lol

The .biz kills it IMO and the terms "Googletube" and "Googtube" are more popular according to Google results. The Big G would be crazy to change the The Big Y's name unless the general public starts calling it something else.

It never ceases to amaze me how people manage to get themselves into debt. This is one of the ways, buy lots of names like this. I am sorry to be rude but don't follow, lead. This is a useless registration, .biz + Fad = waste of money. If you had snagged the .com, you could sell it for some quick cash to someone for sure. You would not get rich but it would be easy money. Not on a .net .biz etc.

I suspect that typ-in traffic on these will increase as a result.

As "icky" as "GooTube" sounds, it should net some revs.

80k+ results on Google for GooTube.. but I think you're potentially walking a fine line with TM issues here.. it's not registered tho it's obvious from this thread your intent is to profit from the YouTube-Google merger. Doesn't have to be registered to be a protected term. Not saying "gootube" is but a smart lawyer might make a case of it.

Introducing lawyers and protected terms seems a little over the top though, for something which is only a bit of fun, even if some are trying to profit from it, thats bussiness isnt it?,thats why we're here thats why we're doing what we do? if we worried about lawyers we wouldnt bother getting out of bed.

Has a lifespan of about 2 days, youtube isn't going to change its name to that in a million years, if it did they probably still would have very little interest in the .biz. Waste of money buying fad names like this.
