1. Why are you posting this in its own thread?
2. They already had Rose's contact info.
3. "Anytime a buyer makes an offer to buy your domain just follow up with a telephone call to him or her. It is that simple." -- Did you even read that thread? Jesus...

Well, just an update for those that were wondering.

I contacted Fabulous about it. They were little help. Not only did they say that they know of no one named Rose Hagan at Google but they did not mention anything about being a mediator in any transaction. They also claim that they do not log IP addresses of folks who submit offers to buy. They did say that if someone made an offer that big, they would most likely contact me directly using my whois info, not through the Fabulous contact form.

I contacted Google via phone and it was a waste of time. Not only would they not put me through to Rose Hagan but they would not take me seriously unless I gave them full details of the email I received including the reason for the email (which I was not comfortable with). I told them it was for a domain purchase and they wanted to know the exact domain name. I did not get the name of the 2 people I spoke to at Google, not that it matters.

I decided to just let it go (as I decided at first when I got the offer). If it was a legit offer, they will contact me again.

In the meantime, I will start developing the site as originally planned.

Well, it was a very "suspect offer" but if it was legit, they will contact you again for sure.

If Fabulous showed no interest try parking it at sedo.

Best of luck to ya :)

Well, funny you mention that.

I went from SEDO to Fabulous because a LOT of folks here say that you make more click money there hands down with their 4.0 program.

Not true for me. Not even slightly.

I will be going back to SEDO shortly when I get the time.
