Google's "pages that link to your site"

There is something that I don't understand about the "pages that link/reffer to your site". So here's what's bothering me. 1 year ago the company I work for bought 10 domains ..on every domain there was a index. page which had on the bottom something like :
Other sites of our companies:
site 1
site 2
......

So basically there are 10 sites...each of them have on the bottom links to the other 9 sites. (like www.cutite.ro). You're following me? the question is this...upon clickin
http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.cutite.ro/&hl=en
which should be the list of sites that have a link to www.cutite.ro I can't see any of those 10 sites, nor other sites that I submited www.cutite.ro. to! Why is that? Hopefully I'm making sense for someone and maybe u understand my issue. I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong or why is this happening.
