Google's New VC Fund Lacks Domain Name

Intresting little article about google putting together a fund only to find out the name Google Ventures is reg by someone else.

Maybe they were ultra confident of taking the domain name from the present owner. The way I see it, the domain is totally useless to him. If he develops it, it will be trademark infringement and if he doesnt its cybersquatting. Much safer to hit a hornet's nest with a stick than mess with g00gle's TM.

Google is a tm, would be tough to defend tm+dictionary.

That's probably what the domain owner's counting on, not withstanding that a
UDRP's filed for it at NAF.
