Gave the article a read. Thanks for sharing it here in the forum. I wonder what all the keyword domainer enthusiasts have to say about this one. Google and John Mueller have spoken. Each of Google's algorithm updates have been incrementally chipping away at the idea keyword domains provide the ultimate SEO advantage. In the 90s/00s, this may've been the case; but in 2025 it's not. Expect other browsers to follow suit.

Furthermore, Mr. Mueller pointed out that using a generic keyword domain like "cheapcarinsurance.com" would actually lead to a company's website being "demoted" in the search results. Ouch! This means a lot of domainer's portfolios are going to be impacted if they aren't diversified. Unfortunately, convincing certain domainer's their outlook on domaining could be outdated is more challenging than making an adjustment to how they pick names.

You could always use the type in name to forward to the brand site.
