Hello guys ,

I bought googlehomespeaker.com recently and wanted to list it on Sedo but it doesnt let me do . Sedo's message is below and i wanted to know what you guys think about it . googlehome speaker is a product name and i dont think that it may conflict with the rights of the Google ... or may it ?

'' googlehomespeaker.com: We're sorry, but Sedo cannot allow you to directly add this domain to your account due to a potential conflict with the rights of a third party. ''

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
If you are doing that why are you listing it on Sedo?

I am going to create a website about the product and going to use this domain for the website .
Then why do you want to list the domain on Sedo, a platform for domain sales ? These two statements don't jive.

I am telling you that listing domains on websites like the SEDO can help your website rank better on google searches at the very begginning .
I am sure that excuse will do wonders at UDRP

don't used trademark names in domain names. pretty simple.
He is doing that because it won't sell. So he will develop it, and not make any money instead.
Grace delete, spend your time on something that is not using another company name to your advantage

BTW I bought '' chromecastultra '' too which is just another product of the Google . It doesnt contain the word Google but name of the product ... Same stuation or not ?
Same situation: the more unique and/or famous the trademark, the more likely people will associate it with its holder.

You can check Go Daddy's refund policy if you qualify. If not, then you can always consider this a lesson learned---which some people paid with more than just reg fees.

Never ever register a trademark domain again.

If possible, try to get a refund by simply contacting the support from your hoster.

If not, just delete it.

:xf.eek::xf.eek::xf.eek::xf.eek::xf.eek:

Stick to generic words

And time is money. How much of yours have you wasted for nothing?

Seriously, every second counts in life. Think of a name you could buy to review google products if you are into google things.

Names also look. better when the first letter of each word is capitalized.
ChromeCastUltra

Because you could potentially get revenue from your site because it uses their name. No matter if you've have creative, original content. It's not a generic term, and instantly associated with the company, Google.

If you had, for example, HomeStereoReviews.com or similar, you could make sections tailored to your reviews of their stereos, and would it be fine.

And that's the problem you asked about, hchaglar, which Google (sometimes) addresses via the UDRP or some trademark laws. You can find some of the UDRP and trademark cases Google pursued if you search online enough.

If you got a website with a great domain , places like SEDO can help you with the SEO too . Tricky but works .

There will be information about the product and reviews . Name of the product is googlehome .. why would that be against the law ?
